A Non-Profit Connecting Hearts and Paws
Therapy Animals of San Antonio is an all volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization and an affiliate member of the International Association of Human-Animal Interactions Organizations (IAHAIO), and a GuideStar Exchange Platinum Participant.
We are led by a Board of Directors and publish an Annual Report. Our mission since 1989 has been bringing people and animals together for healing. We do this with our therapy teams’ visits to facilities, educational presentations, and StoryTails literacy program in the greater San Antonio area.
We provide training and support for therapy teams, who may choose to become registered with Therapy Animals of San Antonio or Pet Partners, Inc. (formerly Delta Society).
